BOILED COLD-PRESSED LINSEED OIL - IMPREGNATION – outdoors and indoors Contents: Extra purified and refined cold-pressed, boiled linseed oil without solvents. Used for: Impregnation and surface treatment of wood, stone, iron, sheet metal, shale, clay, brick, etc. Consumption: 1 litre covers around 6-10 m². Drying time: 24 hours at room temperature. Dry volume: 100 %. As linseed oil molecules are very small, it can penetrate the surface and protect it from penetration by water, moisture and dirt. Linseed oil normally dries in 1-3 days depending on the surface and how thick the applied coat is. Air, heat and light speed up the drying process. Add thin layers and remove the excess with a cloth after 20 minutes. It is good to add several coats, allowing the surface to dry between each coat, until the surface is completely saturated. There are big differences between various linseed oil products depending on how pure the linseed oil is. Our linseed oil products are based on our unique, patented linseed oil. Based on a number of carefully selected strains of linseed, we cold-press around 25% of the seeds’ weight in oil. This “virgin oil” is then further purified through a unique refinement process. Out linseed oil penetrates deeper into the surface. It reduces the risk of microorganism infestation and also dries quicker. Boiled Cold-pressed Linseed Oil Impregnation has a dry volume of 100% which means that what you take home remains on the surface after treatment, rather than evaporating and disappearing. The linseed is well suited for impregnation and surface treatment of wood, stone, shale, concrete and sheet metal, such as indoor and outdoor flooring, cutting boards, kitchen counter tops, furniture, wooden boats, instruments, windows, joinery and house exteriors. Linseed oil Impregnation is completely non-toxic and contains no solvents or heavy metals.
